It’s graduation and wedding season, so I’m on the hunt for the perfect dresses to wear this summer! I found this cute little number at Nordstrom while I was in San Francisco, but I wanted to browse online for some other options before making purchasing. Needless to say, it was still a top pick after my online shopping session, and I snatched it up before it sold out. I love the blue and white pattern. Personally, I love that floral has made a comeback, but it might be a bit much for some. For those who haven’t come to terms with colorful floral prints, I think this dress offers the perfect compromise. The colors work so well together – the dark blue roses set against the stark white background.
I really like the fit and flare silhouette too. Since the dress isn’t snug or fitted, the shorter length and small cutout in the front are definitely appropriate for daywear. I plan on wearing this dress to one of the weddings I have coming up this summer, and I’m sure that it’ll be making other random appearances as well.
During the same online shopping excursion at Nordstrom, I was also searching for a pair of white shoes. I wasn’t really sure what style to choose at first, but I knew I wanted something with a heel – either a pump or an open-toe option. When I found these gladiator heeled sandals by Vince Camuto, I was sold immediately. I love the gladiator style. Plus, a heeled sandal presents endless possibilities because you can wear it with jeans, shorts, or dresses. The choice was made simple because I knew I would get plenty of wear out of them! If you’re not a fan of the stark white option, the shoe also comes in tan, sandbar, and black. If I haven’t convinced you yet, they are 40% off right now‼! Don’t miss out – oh, and did I mention they’re super comfortable!
I completed my look with gunmetal accessories, including these clip-on Bauble Bar earrings, which are also on sale for only $24! To stick with the gunmetal theme of my jewelry and to add a pop of red, I carried my Chanel Boy Bag, one of my favorites.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look. Be sure to come back for my other finds for wedding and graduation season!
