Happy Sunday! I’m so excited that warmer weather is here (I know some of you are still suffering in the snow and cold, and I’m so sorry!). I’ve been wanting to buy and wear warm weather clothes for months now. I love all of the winter wear (jackets, sweaters, etc.), BUT it’s all really bulky and hard to pack. The couple of trips I took to places where it was freezing, like D.C. and London/Paris, were so difficult to pack for because I couldn’t fit all of the clothes and boots I wanted to take. 🙁

Next stop is Miami though, and I’ve been purchasing swimsuits and maxi dresses. I can’t wait!

I actually purchased this dress last year, and the photoshoot is from last year as well (you can probably tell from my reddish hair). I haven’t actually worn this dress out yet though, and I think my sister will get to wear it before I do. Haha She asked to borrow it for our Mom’s 60th birthday party this coming Saturday…I’m still trying to order the food by the way, and I’m getting quite annoyed at Lupe Tortilla for not calling me back. I just want some good Tex-Mex! Geez.

I bought this dress on sale (of course), and I think it’ll be the perfect dress to wear this spring/summer. I love the off the shoulder ruffles and the slightly hi-lo hem. The fabric is light and breezy too – perfect for this humidity.

The sage color is not one I would normally gravitate towards, but for some reason, I really like how this compliments my skin tone. After I bought this dress, I decided to start adding more items in this color to my wardrobe. Just proves that sometimes you have to give a color a try, even if you don’t initially have the most positive feelings about it.

These Sam Edelman shoes are my FAVORITE! I needed a pair of nude block heeled sandals for awhile, and I decided to give these a try, because the price point is great. They are so comfortable – no joke. I can’t wear stiletto heels all the time, but I LOVE wearing heels, so these are the perfect compromise at 4 inches. I’ve convinced so many of my friends to buy this style as well, and they have not been disappointed. I just bought my second pair in rose gold (<— follow the link) and had zero hesitations about having two pairs of the same shoes – it’s really just a testament to how great they are.

I hope you all have a fantastic week!

Love always,

Lisa Dawn
