Happy Super Bowl Sunday! So I’d just written out this nice blog post…and then I deleted it somehow! I don’t know what happened, but I’m so irritated right now. lol That’s one thing I REALLY hate – losing work that I’ve put a lot of thought or effort into. Technology is the worst sometimes. This effort is going to be a little hurried, because my food is almost here! I ordered Wing Stop…may as well keep the bad weekend eats going, and then get back in the gym tomorrow.
I spent the weekend in Austin and took these AMAZING Spanx leggings with me. I’m completely obsessed with them. They are a bit on the pricey side, especially for leggings. I hate spending more than like $20 for leggings, and these are literally right under $100. Let me tell you though – WORTH EVERY PENNY.
They are effortless and incredibly comfortable, not to mention that they camouflage that midsection. I get food babies all the time after I eat, which is highly annoying if you’re wearing something form fitting. With these leggings, I don’t worry about that AT ALL. They keep everything smooth and flat.
The faux leather looks great, and I get so many compliments on these when I wear them. I love them so much (and bragged about them so much) that I bought them for two of my sisters as birthday presents. They were so excited! I’ve recommended them to countless other people as well. Perfect for the cooler weather, and they go so well with lots of outfits. You can check out my Insta for two other times I was rocking them. Comment on the picture to let me know you figured it out!
This sweater is pretty cool too – can’t let the leggings get all the shine. I love the ripped details on the shoulders and the slit down the front. It’s not just your regular ole tunic sweater. I really wish it was still available, but it’s sold out EVERYWHERE.
Now let’s give some well deserved attention to these booties – the other star of this outfit. I’m undeniably obsessed with Sam Edelman shoes, and this pair is no exception. The heel is about 3.5-4 inches, but it’s a block heel, which makes for a super comfortable shoe that you can literally wear all day. I’m packing these for my trip to London and Paris in a few weeks. I’m sure I’ll be able to trek some major distance in them.
The leather is really pliable and comfortable, and the shoe slips on well without the need for a zipper. I’ve had these in the line-up all season, and I’ll be so upset when I finally wear them out. Luckily, I”m pretty easy on my shoes, so I will get a lot more wear out of these before that happens.
They’re on sale right now, and I’ve linked to two retailers to be sure you can find your correct size. Don’t miss out! You won’t regret this purchase.
I hope you guys have a great week! I’m off to eat my weight in wings and cheese sauce.
